First the conservatory My name is Ninia Lazaar. I grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia, and started performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of six. In 1987, I began my studies at the State Conservatory of Tbilisi, where I was taught by international masters and won several prizes. Besides a busy international career, I am a certified violin teacher and regularly give masterclasses. I am also active as an examiner. Concerts and violin lessons During my conservatory studies, I specialized in violin methodology, focusing on both young talent and advanced students. As a professional musician, I perform with ensembles and orchestras. Besides my love for classical music, I have a passion for Argentine tango (such as Astor Piazzolla), world music, and baroque music. I consider the violin a “headstrong” instrument: you have to build a relationship with it and fall in love with it. For me, music is a mirror of the heart and soul. Do you also have a passion for music? Then I warmly invite you to play violin together!
