Music as a bridge between generations
On March 6, 2021, I had the privilege of performing at Woonzorgcentrum Nicasius in Heeze. I regularly visit care facilities to allow residents to enjoy live music, and this performance was no exception.

A varied musical concert

During the concert, I performed a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical pieces to beloved melodies from the residents’ youth. In addition, I played Dutch-language songs and jazz, which created a recognizable and warm atmosphere.

Positive reactions and media attention

The reactions of the residents were heartwarming; many said how much they enjoyed the music. The performance also received attention in the local media, which underscores the community’s involvement in such events.
